Delete your
Motarix account.
This page explains how to delete the account the Motarix app creates for you, and exactly what is removed. Motarix Automotive operates the Motarix app.
The fastest way — in the app
- Open the Motarix app.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Tap Delete account at the bottom.
- Confirm.
Your account and the data linked to it are deleted immediately. You do not need to be signed in to anything, and there is nothing to fill in.
If you have already uninstalled the app
Email support@motarixautomotive.com with the subject “Delete my account”.
Tell us the phone number you used to contact us on WhatsApp, if you ever did, so we can find your records. We will confirm within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Your anonymous app account and its identifier
- Saved vehicles in your garage
- Your notification token and device details
- Your notification and stock-alert preferences
- Your back-in-stock alerts
- Your notification history
Your basket and saved vehicles are stored only on your phone, so uninstalling the app removes those regardless.
What we have to keep, and for how long
If you have placed an order, Tanzanian tax and accounting law requires us to retain the order and invoice records for five years. We remove your name, phone number and delivery address from those records when you delete your account, so they can no longer identify you.
Nothing else is retained.
